Stage Show Performance Rider
STAGE - A stage or riser at least 20 feet deep, 24 feet wide, and 2 feet high. Easy and direct access from the stage into the audience is necessary. If the stage is over 12 inches high, provide stairs (NO HANDRAILS) that lead directly into the audience from front and center of the stage as well as a second set of stairs stage left.
(We understand all venues may not be able to accommodate a larger stage, please call me if this is an issue)
SOUND - An adequate PA system for the room with a mixing board, two wireless handheld microphones, one wireless lavalier microphone, one microphone stand, an input for an iPod via mini jack or XL connector, and a technician to set the sound levels for the room. A stand alone sound system is preferred over a house system built into the ceiling.
LIGHTING - The show takes place on stage and in the audience, so both areas must be well lit. The existing room lighting is usually sufficient. If the venue has theatrical lighting, two lighting trees should have at least one ellipsoidal OR two par cans on each. Dimmer packs are preferred. If no dimmer packs, please gel with either "pink" or "green" gels.
To ensure the most intimate show, the banquet tables should be as close to the stage as possible (7 feet maximum preferred) and not on the side of the stage.
Pipe and drape backdrop stage left (optional).
Please provide (2) small tables (about the size of a card table) and (2) chairs off stage / stage left behind pipe
& drape area.
